Silicon Practice, (owned by Schappit Ltd) a UK-based digital health company that provides website services and patient-flow tools for NHS General Practice (GP) surgeries, has gone into administration. (Source)
The company was behind more than 1000 GP practice surgery websites in England and Wales. Many GP Surgery customers have now lost their practice websites, and other online services provided by the company. Many site sites now return a 502 Bad Gateway error, will no longer load, and all other services also appear to be offline.
NHS England and local Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) have instructed affected patients to contact their GP surgeries directly by phone or in person while alternative digital providers are put in place.
Many GP surgeries are now engaged in a disaster recovery exercise- attempting to redirect their practice domain names to new hosting and to establish at least some tactical contact & helpful information online for concerned patients.

Can I retrieve my old website data?
– The answer is probably, yes. If you do not have a backup of your old website before the outage, we may well be able to recover much of your old website’s content, using the web’s ‘WayBackMachine’ Archive. (This will help with any website re-build). This phase is individually costed. Please call us to discuss.
